Nickname Commands /Nick (nickname) Changes your nickname. If it does not work it may be because someone is already using it /Whois (nickname) Gives you information about a user currently connected to IRC /ns Identify (password) Identifies for your current Nickname /ns Recover (nickname) (password) Like using Ghost and Release and /Nick all with one command /ns Ghost (nickname) (password) Kills an the connection of another user using your nickname /ns Release (nickname) (password) Releases the nickname you just had killed so you can reclaim it /ns Register (password) (email) Registers your current Nickname if it is not already taken /ns Info (nickname) Gives you information about a users nickname even if they are not currently connected to IRC /ns Set Passwd (oldpass) (newpass) Changes your password /ns Help Lists all the Core commands /ns Help (command) Gives you detailed instructions on the use of that command /ns Set URL (your url) Attaches a Url to your nickname. Typing this command with the url field blank deletes the Url field /ns Set ShowEmail Tells you what your showemail setting is set to /ns Set ShowEmail (On/Off) Makes your sendpass to email visible or invisible to other users. We STRONGLY recommend turning this off. /ns set NoMemo Will give you the status of your memo storage settings /ns set NoMemo (On/Off) Will turn storing of memos on or off. /ns Set Enforce This is an outdated command that will simply tell you that your nickname is set to enforce on /ns Set Enforce On If your nickname was registered long ago, using this command will turn nick enforce on. This is automatic for all new registrations /ns Drop (nickname) UnRegisters a nickname /ns Set Email Reminds you what your current email address setting is set to. This is important for password reminders /ns Set Email (password) (email) Changes the email address you wish dalnet to send password reminders to /ns SendPass (nickname) (email) Sends the password for a given nickname to the email address     Memo Commands /ms Send (nickname)(text) Sends a memo to a user /ms SendSop (#channel)(text) Sends a memo to all sops of a channel /ms List Lists all your memos /ms Read (number) Reads that memo /ms Del (number) Marks that memo for deletion /ms Purge Deletes only the memos you have marked for deletion /ms Del All Deletes all memos in your folder
